When I got up in the morning and looked through outside
of the window, it was cloudy. It might be an ominous presentimentc However,
the east sky was bright, so I thought it was to fine in the afternoon. I
had to go back to Schlieren once that day. It is about 170km from Sedrun
to Schlieren. I thought that I could get there by noon. About 7:30 A.M,
I had breakfast and checked out at 9:00P.M. It was really coming to go over
one of the pass of the Swiss Alps. I started the engine of Kawasaki GPX
600R. Sedrun is already 1400m above sea level and I would go up to about
600m higher place. There were many hairpin curves and I rode to up on the
steep road to the top of the Oberalp pass. When I got the top, it was still
cloudy, but I took a picture feeling like the conquest of an unclimbed peak.
It was really the first conquest of a pass of the Swiss Alps for me. |
